George R. R. Martin Wants a Barack Obama Cameo in 'Game of Thrones'

Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin has revealed former President Barack Obama would be his fantasy cameo on the show.

Martin was taking part in a live Q&A when a fan asked who his dream guest would be. "Well, Barack Obama would be pretty exciting," replied the author. "And actually, he IS a fan of the show."

It appears show producer HBO is ramping up its promotional campaign ahead of the upcoming season. After unleashing this brief trailer upon fans over the weekend, the official poster for season 7 has also arrived.

The teaser was rolled out to fans during SXSW festival in Boston and surely hints at the upcoming "fire versus ice"  battle between Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons and the advancing White Walkers. Apart from that, show producers still refuse to give too much away, with the summer premiere date and other information yet to be divulged.
