Gorillaz cartoon guitarist Noodle has shared a new mixtape showcasing "kick-ass women" like Grimes, Empress Of, Laurie Anderson, and more.

The new playlist from the fictional member of the Damon Albarn-created band was released earlier today, titled "私 Noodle!" (translated as ‘Me, Noodle!’). It follows another playlist from Gorillaz’s cartoon lead singer 2D, which was made exclusively for Highsnobiety back in November.

While Noodle's new mix doesn’t feature any new Gorillaz material, it does contain music from awesome artists like Grimes, Kali Uchis, Empress Of, and more, artfully interspersed with interviews with electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire and deaf percussionist Evelyn Glennie.

Noodle announced the playlist on Instagram, posting the cover art with the caption: “In search of new sounds and new inspiration, I found these kick-ass women who in their own individual ways are true pioneers in the writing, production and creation of MUSIC. They have inspired me, and I hope they inspire you too.”
