Key Pieces: Some of the strongest pieces include the series of outerwear like the deconstructed denim jacket and all-black bomber with a fur-lined hood, in addition to the all-red hooded jumpsuit and the intricately knitted crewneck sweater in yellow/black.
Editor’s Notes: Gosha Rubchinskiy unveiled the first looks from his upcoming GR-Uniforma project in the beginning of March, following an announcement back in February, and now, Dover Street Market has revealed additional fits from the label’s first drop titled, “GRUPPA.”
According to DSM, Gosha Rubchinskiy has been working on this project since June 2018, and the collection spotlights wardrobe essentials such as various jacket styles, shirts, sweaters, bottoms and more — all of which have been slightly deconstructed and refined or elevated with more stylish flair. In our previous report, WWD pointed out that GR-Uniforma will be focused on “uniform, about community, architecture order, about people from your world.” In addition, details on the new project, as well as potential collaborations, will be published on the brand’s Instagram account.
If you like what you see, the first drop launches globally at DSM’s flagship locations in New York, London, Ginza, Singapore, Beijing and Los Angeles, as well as online, beginning March 16.
