California-based photographer Gray Malin has just unleashed a new series titled "Art of Living." The project finds Malin conceptualizing various mid-century modern furniture styles on a reflective platform, located atop the crystal clear waters of French Polynesia.

The furniture designs come courtesy of Charles and Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen, and Knoll, as the aforementioned 15-foot platform was constructed by local engineers.

Malin in turn photographed the objects precisely with Mount Otemanu in the background, all in all further emphasizing the form of the furniture. Ultimately, the project positions natural and manmade beauty side by side.
