Dutch label Tenue de Nîmes calls to Hancock VA for an injection of elegant rain coats in two distinct silhouettes for the winter months ahead. Both are handmade in Scotland and are available exclusively through Tenue de Nîmes in Amsterdam.
This is the Article 41 and it’s a damn handsome coat. The black-taupe vulcanized cotton outer creates a clean canvas for the detachable, khaki quilted liner. If you look closely you can see the “V” quilted pattern, which is a subtle nod to Hancock’s historic practice of vulcanization. In laymen’s terms, it’s a rubberized process that renders the coat waterproof.

The Article 49 is touted as a “modern trench coat redefined,” and features a concealed placket for a refined and polished look.
