Hanon and Le Coq Sportif go au naturale with their new collab sneaker: the LCS R1000 "French Jersey."

Paying homage to Le Coq's history in manufacturing apparel, the sneaker is inspired by vintage sportswear and features a tongue and lining made from plush cotton jersey material while the overlays of the LCS R1000, which are usually synthetic, have been replaced with rich pigskin nubuck and a closed mesh upper.

Executed in a brick red and vibrant orange colorway, the sneaker has been stripped of all rubber elements. Instead, details appear in the form of a jersey-inspired lace, nubuck tongue patch, bar tack stitch detail and laminated calfskin footbed, which, safe to say, makes the shoe very vegan unfriendly.

The hanon x Le Coq Sportif LCS R1000 "French Jersey" drops on December 5.
