Hanon and Reebok join forces for a new collaboration on a re-imagined edition of the Reebok Club C. The Club C began life as a performance tennis sneaker in the mid-80s and now the two brands bring the classic shoe into modern times. The brands previously collaborated on the Hanon x Reebok Classic Leather '3 Castles' which proved to be popular among collectors.

The sneaker takes inspiration from the legendary Claymore sword, Scots' Gaelic for 'Great Sword,' which originated during the medieval period and is made distinctive by the circular shape that patterns each side of the handle. Made from rich pig suede, the 'chain mail' mesh depicts the sword's history.

An ornate Celtic knot can also be found on the footbed, across the collar lining and on the tongue backer. The Hanon x Reebok Club C "Claymore" is due for release on January 28. Each pair comes with three additional lace sets, bespoke shoe box, and a special edition cotton dust bag.

In other sneaker-related updates, check out the new White Mountaineering and adidas NMD Primeknit Trails.
