British brand Hawksmill steps forward with a selection of denim and denim-related clothing for those that like their blue straightforward and simple. Based in Brighton, founder Fraser Trewick brings over 20 years of experience from Duffer of St George and Nudie Jeans among others. Quality and fit are central to the brand; the traditional five pocket has been reworked in five fits ranging from Slim Tapered to Regular Tapered. With a focus on more contemporary silhouettes, Hawksmill swaps vintage takes on denim for a more relevant range with something that should suit everyone. Each style is created from the ever reliable Cone Mills White Oak selvedge, and the jeans are made in Europe using old-school Union Special machines, resulting "in a product which is built to last combining both functionality and character." An additional selection of work-inspired jackets and shirts finish off the line, basics which once again keep quality at their core. Look out for Fall/Winter 2015 launching in stores including Oi Polloi and Edifice 417 Tokyo.
