Editor’s Notes: After releasing a campaign starring upcoming rapper Sheck Wes earlier this month, Helmut Lang has unveiled its long-awaited FW18 lookbook, packed full of elegantly refashioned staples.

For his first collection with the brand, Mark Thomas has revisited classic Helmut Lang pieces, playing with a variety of textiles, colors, and cuts for a more modern interpretation.

Items such as the black blazer, patterned-wool coats, and puffa jackets showcase the label's dedication to sleek, minimal aesthetics, all the while keeping winter’s encroach in mind. Elsewhere, the collection revamps staples with specific design choices, namely thick ribbed tops, oversized cardigans, sheer dress shirts and loose-fit dress pants.

Among the tones embodied throughout, grey, green and black remain the boldest, with splashes of white, yellow, and pink to keep your seasonal wardrobe rotations on point.

Browse the collection above, and let us know if you plan to cop anything from it in the comment section following.
