Life beyond style

With California transitioning from medical marijuana to legalizing it for recreational use, the market for weed is evolving. More and more brands are stepping up to court providing new upscale shopping experiences, luxury products, and a variety weed centric goodies. With it brings in a new kind of weed consumer.

Our latest documentary explores several well-known cannabis brands and shops including MedMenLowell SmokesBloom FarmsHelloMDBeboe and Lord Jones. We dive deeper into each brand to see how this new upscale consumer emerged and what that means for the future of the market .

High End also examines the past, present, and future of the California weed culture. We sit down with several industry insiders like Estrohaze to discuss the lifestyles of multicultural women in the industry, cultural appropriation, and how state and federal regulations will affect brands as legalization grows nationwide.

To celebrate its launch, Highsnobiety premiered the documentary in Los Angeles at a special event sponsored by Weedmaps. Held at The Elder Statesman’s West Hollywood store, we’ve also collaborated with the lifestyle brand on a four-piece capsule collection consisting of two cashmere sweaters and two beanies. The collab will be available at the High End premiere event and at store.highsnobiety.com.
