The Highsnobiety and Diadora collab just has officially dropped and you can get it direct and exclusively via Highsnobiety here.

It’s the first in a two-part collaborative project between Highsnobiety and Diadora to celebrate the Italian brand’s 70th birthday. This first project hones in on one of Highsnobiety’s home cities, Berlin. Referencing an area around the bombed-out and partially restored Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church (kept half damaged to commemorate the cities troubled past). This area was before The Wall fell and afterward throughout the ’90s the central spot in (West) Berlin’s breakbeat, skate, hip-hop and deutsche Rap szene. Which is why Vitali Gelwich shot the lookbook with two OGs from the scene, Berlin rappers Taktlo$$ and Frauenarzt.

The four-piece capsule—co-designed with legendary Berlin streetwear head Hikmet Sugoer—comprises a pair of N9002 runners, a buttery pair of suede slides, a very ’90s-esque two-piece tracksuit, and a Berlin flag-inspired beach towel. Cop it below, or scroll for all the deets.

Highsnobiety x Diadora N9002

Born originally as a neutral performance running shoe in 1992, the Highsnobiety re-interpretation of the N9002 sees an unprecedented combination of Kangaroo leather with premium suede and nylon in the upper. This is then enriched by Alcantara lining to ensure maximum softness and comfort. Details such as 3M reflective silver reinforcements and Highsnobiety gold foil logo print on the tongue complete the shoe. The sneaker comes with three laces options—all with gold plated metal lace tips—alongside an additional pair of printed inner soles depicting the Memorial Church.

Highsnobiety x Diadora Track Suit

Crafted according to the OG design specs from 1992, the Highsnobiety x Diadora tracksuit is remade in 2018 from soft nylon taslan fabric. Precious details such as 3M reflective silver inserts, silver embroidered Diadora and Highsnobiety logos, high-quality mesh lining, and a unique color combination to match with the N9002 also feature—all as a nod to one of Berlin’s most monumental buildings, the Gedächtniskirche. Unique taping with Highsnobiety logo and reflective details finish off the luxe street two-piece, running down the jacket sleeves and bottoms’ side paneling.

Highsnobiety x Diadora Slides

Following the color scheme of the Highsnobiety x Diadora N9002 sneaker and tracksuit, the capsule’s slides are based on Diadora’s design for the Serifos 90 but have been re-worked with a premium suede upper and an embossed tone-on-tone Highsnobiety logo at the center. Gold embossed Diadora and Highsnobiety branding appears on the medial (inner) and lateral (outer) sides of the footwear with Diadora’s logo on footbed.

Highsnobiety x Diadora Beach Towel

Rounding out the summer capsule is the beach towel. The towel underscores the green city that is Berlin and its place as the inspiration behind this collaboration. The towel reinterprets the German capital city’s flag in the capsule collections colorway, with the Berlin Bear—the city’s icon—placed at the center.
