Highsnobiety's run of collaborative projects continues with fellow Berliners MYKITA, with the arrival of two very limited edition sunglasses.

The ATKA combines two contrasting materials – warm acetate and stainless steel – to create a perfectly balanced and super lightweight frame. The nearly translucent front in Nassau is paired with temples in Shiny Graphite, a modern mix of surfaces that accentuates the elegance of the construction. Completing the design, the tailored click-in connection creates a subtle trademark in the shape of a small metal square in the acetate.

The rose gold colorway is highly limited to only 30 pairs and not for sale, as it will be gifted to some of fashion’s most forward influencers, while the black is limited to 300 pairs worldwide.

The frames will launch on May 12, for $519 USD and are available from the retailers below. Check out the making of the ATKA sunglasses in our behind-the-scenes video.
