Founded in 2014 by design enthusiast and former architect Jeff Johnson, THE ARRIVALS is a direct-to-consumer clothing brand that specializes in some of the best bang-for-buck outerwear on the market. Their Aer puffer jacket offers a hardy 550 fill made from European goose down and combines it with a waterproof nylon shell.

With winter right around the corner, we partnered with THE ARRIVALS on a special edition of the Aer puffer. Our collaboration comes in a sleek solid gray color with contrasting cobalt blue convertible shoulder straps, made for hanging the jacket around your body when you’re not wearing it.

Subtle embossed branding on the cuffs and adjustable powder skirt add a quiet accent to the otherwise versatile jacket. The hood is also removable, and a two-way zip means you can step up your layer game underneath, or get some extra ventilation without having to wear it fully open.

We traveled to Iceland to shoot the lookbook, which will be launching later this week. While there, we got a firsthand look at how climate change is affecting the country’s environment and natural resources, like Icelandic glaciers that are receding at a rate of about 10-20 meters per year.

That’s why Highsnobiety is donating 100% of our proceeds from this collaboration to The Carbon Fund, a nonprofit organization that is paving the way towards a clean energy future. They do this by helping both individuals and businesses reduce and offset their climate impact. It’s a first gesture that we hope inspires others to take up the fight against climate change as well.

The Highsnobiety x THE ARRIVALS Aer puffer jacket releases Tuesday, November 13 at, and will cost $445. You can currently sign up for the waitlist before the product launches.
