For the latest installment of our Highsnobiety TV series, we journey to the culinary scene of Hong Kong and stop by for a visit at the ultra-luxe restaurant Potato Head.
Located in the rapidly evolving district of Sai Ying Pun, Potato Head functions as a multi-purpose restaurant, coffee shop and retail store. The building its housed in what was formerly a pre-school, and many of those design details remain on the building’s exterior. The interior was designed by architect Sou Fujimoto
The cuisine served in the restaurant is among the most authentic Indonesian food you’ll find, as the chefs have taken great pains to create food as close to tradition as possible. The retail space is frequently host to pop-ups and collaborations, with some of their recent partnerships coming from Three Buns, NBHD and the one and only Fergus Purcell.
Be sure to take a visit to Potato Head if you find yourself in Hong Kong, and stay tuned for more from Highsnobiety TV.
