Mr Porter

We have seen the watch trend in recent years go from large oversized models, lead by brands in the luxury market such as Hublot and Audemars Piguet, to a more subtle look, focusing on simplicity and being timeless. In the more affordable watch sector brands such as Daniel Wellington and TRIWA have been leading the market with this specific look. Today we present an interesting alternative to the current market offering by Australian brand Huckleberry & Co. watches.

Their new Kickstarter campaign for the Archibald watch was funded in just six hours, which is an impressive success to start with and clearly demonstrates a demand for the brand's new Bauhaus design-inspired automatic watch. The 40mm diameter dial comes with a sans-serif typeface design, keeping the face of the watch very clean and minimal. The watch is powered by a Japanese Miyota 9132 automatic movement and comes in both silver and rose gold options.

The project still runs for another 37 days. You can support it here below.
