HUF partners with American cartoonist Mark Bodé, son of the late underground cartoonist and illustrator Vaughn Bodē, for a special collaboration celebrating the family’s artistic legacy.
Mark Bodé is best known as the creator of the Miami Mice comic, as well as for his work on the science fiction comic series Cobalt 60. His father, Vaughn, is largely considered a pioneer of the underground comic scene, which went on to influence the hip-hop and street art movements of the 1980s.
Commemorating the Bodé family vision, HUF’s celebratory collection showcases original illustrations across T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats, socks, and various accessories, including a skate deck. With prices ranging from $10 to $120, the capsule launches June 20 at HUF stores, select retailers, and online.
To coincide with the release, Mark Bodé has customized 12 limited edition painter’s jackets with signature Bodé artwork. These jackets will be available exclusively at HUF’s Los Angeles, New York City, and Tokyo stores, and online.
