A video shared by designer Future Punk imagines a world in which Apple carried its mid ’80s aesthetic over to today’s iPhone. In the conceptual advertisement up top, we see the iPhone reimagined in the retro style of the OG Macintosh or the iMac G3, complete with ’80s inspired commercial to really hammer the nostalgia home. Watch above.

The “Bondi Blue” phone is immediately comparable to the classic PC, not only for its singular clear blue details but also its chunky keys and silver paneling. Future Punk also features a number of other shades in the video, too, including pink, yellow, and green.

The designer also modeled iPhones inspired by Apple’s 1984 PC designs. You can purchase a Blender file of his digital 3D models here.

On this week’s episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by certified organic style god Danny Bowien, founder of Mission Chinese. The celeb chef breaks down the similarities between running a restaurant and running a clothing brand, and even offers some solid business advice any entrepreneur can learn from.
