The infographic dudes at Mediakix are back once more, this time proving that the internet's hottest influencers are ditching Snapchat Stories for Instagram.

Mediakix kept tabs on 12 key influencers, including the likes of Alexis Ren, over the course of 30 days. The agency recorded more stories on Instagram than Snapchat on 25 out of the 30 days, while 8 of the 12 influencers posted more stories to Instagram than to Snapchat over the entire course of the study. Getting down to nitty gritty numbers, that means influencers are using Instagram stories 25 percent more than Snapchat each day.

So, why exactly are these notable folks leaving Snapchat en masse? According to Mediakix, Instagram primarily offers a wider variety of features and a larger audience for influencers to engage with. The 'gram is also said to be more user-friendly, with its function to include external URLs also a big draw. Find further reading on the reasons why here.

Perhaps most worrying of all for Snapchat is that, according to Google Trends, Instagram Stories has been twice as popular than Snapchat Stories since launching. Check out the Mediakix infographic with everything you need to know below.
