SSENSE

When French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus debuted his first menswear line, we could barely contain ourselves here at Highsnobiety HQ. His namesake label had long delivered chic, sophisticated women’s collections to this point, with particularly coveted giant straw bags and meme-worthy miniature handbags a highlight of SS19. Now, the new men’s offering is available at luxury fashion platform SSENSE, with a whole wardrobe’s worth of timeless summer pieces.

Titled “Le Gadjo” – a Romani gypsy term for a male outsider – the collection debuted at Calanque de Sormiou, a fittingly beautiful beach in Marseille, France. Muscled men strutted down the sand in everything from heavy-gauge knits to short shorts, relaxed fit jeans, retro shirts, and the line’s signature colorful neck bags.

Now, as we continue to visualize these pieces in the ’fits we’ll be rocking through summer ’19, here we’ve brought you some of our highlights from the current selection at SSENSE. While you’ll peep the collection’s highlight pieces such as the Le Minot tote and Le Gadjo neck wallet in neutral hues, we’re also head over heels in love with some of Jacquemus’ colorful printed shirts, a logo-embellished, beach-ready bucket hat, and the beautiful Le Chaine necklace with signet ring-style pendant.
