Back in 1998 we saw R&B songstresses Brandy and Monica fight over the same guy (Mekhi Phifer) in "The Boy Is Mine." Here we are decades later, however, and various individuals are dealing with the same problem, a la James Corden and Jeffrey Tambor in reference to burgeoning actor, John Boyega.

In this hilarious clip from The Late Late Show, we ultimately find Corden and Tambor recreating the famed music video from the '90s, as they are, again, fighting for John Boyega's heart in what is aptly titled "The Boyega Is Mine." Corden and Tambor in turn belt out the same lyrics featured in "The Boy Is Mine," albeit with a slight twist when it comes to the chorus.

To learn how the rivalry plays out, see above, then be sure to revisit the original underneath.
