Dubai-based automotive company Jannarelly, co-founded by Anthony Jannarelly and Frederic Juillot, launched the brand with an intent to create cars inspired by the soul of the 60’s era with the benefits of using modern components.
This year, the automaker has confirmed to be working on an all-electric version of its Design-1 sports car dubbed, Design-X1, however, the company’s next step is to understand the demand for the car. While feedback has been “amazing,” according to an executive, the Design-X1 will essentially be identical to the flagship Design-1, boasting 304-horsepower V-6 engine and a new fin located behind the driver’s seat, while also lacking exhaust pipes since it’s fully electric.
Pricing of Design-X1 is expected between $200,000 USD to $300,000 USD, and if production does get a green light, the company would build an extremely limited batch of 11 cars as the entire project began after one customer requested an all-electric Design-1.
