As 2019 is coming to a close, the subsequent year-end lists continue to roll in. This week, JAY-Z has taken the time to reveal his favorite hip-hop and R&B songs of 2019 via a playlist on TIDAL.

It’s no surprise that JAY has been bumping material by his family throughout the year, as his wife Beyoncé and sister-in-law Solange are both featured on the year-end playlist, alongside Kanye West. Hov also highlights a number of hip-hop veterans that he’s been listening to, giving a nod to the likes of Drake, Rick Ross, and Pusha T, among others.

JAY-Z wasn’t solely focusing on old school hip-hop and R&B in 2019, however. He clearly was into a slew of rising artists including DaBaby, Lil Baby, Summer Walker, Denzel Curry, Megan Thee Stallion, and more, naming songs like “Suge,” “Playing Games,” and “Cash Shit.”
