There are exactly two years to wait until the next installment in the John Wick series. On Monday, production house Lionsgate texted fans, “You have served. You will be of service. John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming — May 21, 2021.”

Fans have been calling new sequel John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum the best we’ve seen of Keanu Reeves as the unstoppable hitman, with the film also currently rated 88 percent fresh by critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to Variety, since opening last Friday, the latest chapter in the franchise has taken more at the box office in its opening weekend than the combined opening weekends of its predecessors, raking in $57 million domestically, whereas John Wick took $14.4 million and John Wick: Chapter 2 took $30.4 million. It has also taken $35 million from 66 international markets.
