Jonah Hill and A24 Films have teamed up on a zine called Inner Children as a companion piece to the actor and low-key style icon’s directorial debut Mid90s. The zine will be stocked at select movie theaters, skate stores, and elsewhere from October 15.

Hill took to Instagram to share a few pages from the zine, in which he interviews 12 people about their childhood selves and how they’ve learned to love themselves. Among the interviewees are skaters Mark “Gonz” Gonzales and Na-Kel Smith (who also stars in Mid90s), musicians Q-Tip, DJ Premier and Kim Gordon, and actors Michael Cera, Edie Falco (The Sopranos) and Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird).

One of the pages Hill shared appears to be the foreword, which explains the inspiration behind the zine and Hill’s own experience of being judged for his appearance after finding fame in his late teens. Read the entire foreword below.

The actor also shared an image from the zine of a grown-up Hill embracing his younger self with the words “THIS MAGAZINE IS DEDICATED TO THIS GUY” and a shot of the zine’s cover.

For more information about where you can pick up a copy of Inner Children, head to A24.

Mid90s is out on October 19. Check out the latest trailer below.
