Jordan Brand has had a long-standing relationship with football and some of its greatest athletes, including the likes of Randy Moss and Earl Thomas.
This weekend, JB is celebrating this deep relationship by unveiling its new player-exclusive Jordan IX cleats. Originally released in 1993, the Air Jordan IX was the first namesake sneaker issued following Michael Jordan’s initial retirement from professional basketball. Now, the shoe continues its cleated legacy as Jordan Brand athletes celebrate kick-off weekend in the bespoke cleats.
Designed for each athlete's specifications, each pair comes in either mid or low-cut styles and team-specific color schemes. Some subtler details also include personalized tongue embroidery, Dynamic Fit inner bootie and a single-pull lacing system.
