In a bid to brighten up the Malaysian town of Butterworth, artist Jun Ong has created a gargantuan star installation as part of the Urban Xchange Festival. Diagonally wedged into the side of an unfinished building, the dodecahedron "Star" is composed of 500-metres of steel and LED cables.

The five-story art piece features cables that are anchored to the ground and strung across beams and adjacent buildings to bring form to the astronomical frame. His work, along with other artists, aims to set the tone for the future of the Butterworth's current desolate conditions. Get up close and personal with Ong's work in the video below.
