Justin Timberlake isn’t exactly known for heavy streetwear looks, but he was recently spotted killing Japanese label visvim’s signature FBTs. Despite some fashion faux pas in the past, the former *NSYNC member has always maintained a certain flair in recent years.
As pictured above, the brown suede crepe was styled in two looks. Timberlake keeps it casual in the left image, pairing a two-toned, double-denim get up with a multicolored jacket that highlights the earthy tone of the shoe. Here, we can see details such as rubber grips on the sole and fringe trimming.
The right image shows Timberlake rocking a more spruced look, pairing a simple jacket with a black and red checked shirt — a must-have for the slight chill of LA nights. The grey jeans, which are fast becoming a quick and simple styling choice, quietly compliments the tone of the shoe, whilst the fringe red beads are a nod to the monochrome top half.
It’s not only the “Cry Me A River” singer that has a love for the Tokyo-based label. Recently, Kanye West was seen with wife Kim holding a pair of FBTs similar to that of Timberlake’s.
Of course, we couldn’t talk about the visvim wave without mentioning the jawnz king himself, John Mayer. The singer famously owns one of the biggest visvim collections in the world and has been pretty active in vocalizing his love for streetwear. Check out a small sample below.
