If there are two areas of life that know all about the offense/defense divide, it's sports and the military. With that in mind, there was only ever one way b-ballers K1X and armed forces outfitters Alpha Industries were going to combine their talents.
Selecting one item from each brand's universe – K1X's high-performance Anti-Gravity sneaker and Alpha's classic MA1 flight jacket, to be exact — the O.D. Pack is poised to make a double impact on your streetwear arsenal. Both pieces are played out in classic olive shades, with tonal branding and embellishments giving a subtle nod to each name involved.
This reworking of the Anti-Gravity sneaker features all the usual high-performance trimmings serious ballers are used to, such as a memory foam lining and dual density EVA midsole, and carries a double-branded soft velcro patch at the tongue. Meanwhile, the "Nation of Hoop" edition of the timeless MA1 jacket comes with additional embroidered branding at the breast and zip placket, a pair of removable Velcro "Offense/Defense" patches, and a custom red zip tag celebrating the collaboration hanging from the left arm.
The sneakers are priced at €139.90 ($150) while the jacket costs €159.90 ($170). Both pieces are available in limited quantities from goods at Pigalle, sneakersnstuff, Titolo, Luisaviaroma, POOL, 24 Kilates, KICKZ & other selected retailers from November 21st.
