Basketball streetwear label K1X (also known as the "Nation of Hoop") have released their latest looks for the fall/winter season. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, including racing culture and the world of motorsport, the collection sprang forth initially from the idea of basketball's "fastbreak" play and the technique's finest executors: people like Earvin “Magic” Johnson, “Pistol Pete” Maravich and Jason “White Chocolate” Williams.
The result is an on-trend collection that meshes the two different sports through baggy cuts and heavy use of logo detail printed across casual sweats, long- and short-sleeve hoodies and tees, shorts, wifebeaters, and puff jackets. The prints themselves are K1X's standard motifs and mottos, spliced into the liveries and logos of brands traditionally seen in Formula One, such as Pirelli and Michelin. Meanwhile, the palette remains true to K1X's penchant for monochrome and grayscale, with the aforementioned logos offering relief. Available now.
