XXL 2017 Freshman Class member Kamaiyah just dropped a fresh video for her new track “Build You Up.” She’s serving some serious '90s TLC realness in the visuals, which dropped Thursday night.

“Build You Up” features some intensely colorful vibes reminiscent of the iconic R&B trio, which is no coincidence. “My dancers have on TLC shirts and cross colors clothing in the 'Build You Up' video because TLC is one my biggest influences, homage paid,” Kamaiyah tweeted. The Oakland rapper shot the video in her hometown, and can be seen dancing on BART trains and living it up in the Damien Sandoval-directed clip.

She is currently working on a follow up to her 2016 debut mixtape A Good Night in the Ghetto titled Don't Ever Get It Twisted, which currently does not have a set release date.
