It’s been less than a month since Kanye West released Jesus Is King, his first Christian chart number one album, but the ever-busy musician/designer is already looking ahead to its followup, Jesus Is King Part II. West took to Twitter today to announce that the sequel is already on the way.
“Ye and Dre Jesus is King Part II coming soon,” Kanye tweeted, along with a picture of himself in the studio with Dr. Dre.

Kanye took the world by storm as only he can upon releasing his debut gospel album, Jesus Is King, on October 25. To little surprise, it gave the 42-year-old entertainer his record-tying ninth consecutive number one album, selling 264,000 copies in the first week.
In addition to Jesus Is King Part II, West previously shared that he has a Christmas album on the way. It’s titled Jesus Is Born.
