Kanye West‘s highly anticipated new album, Jesus Is King, is scheduled to release this Friday, September 27, but multiple reports are indicating that the project has been delayed. Variety, Rolling Stone, and New York Times reporter Joe Coscarelli have all stated that sources close to the situation suggest that the album will not arrive on Friday.
it’s Kanye so who knows but I’m hearing from many industry people that “Jesus Is King” is not coming on Friday, despite people on the ground in Wyoming trying to make it happen……..

Earlier today, however, Kim Kardashian retweeted a countdown for the album, leading us to believe that the release could still be on schedule. Kardashian originally announced the project on social media, as Kanye then went on to confirm the Jesus Is King release date weeks ago during his Sunday Service in Indiana.

According to HITS Daily Double, a group of Def Jam executives has travelled to Wyoming for a “come-to-Yeezus meeting,” as that is reportedly where Kanye has been working on the album.
It would certainly be nothing new for West to delay the release of Jesus Is King, seeing as he has pushed back — and even cancelled — albums in the past. Again, the new project is scheduled to arrive this Friday — for now — but as always, stay tuned for more. In the meantime, here’s everything we know about Jesus Is King.
