Key Pieces: The Attus Kakashi kimono-style shacket — featuring an intricate Japanese sashiko embroidery — as well as the oversized linen shirt with multiple pockets and bamboo buttons.
Release Date: Available now
Editor’s Notes: Following a reggae-inspired capsule collection in collaboration with Bob Marley’s daughter, Cedella Marley, Kapital has recently made new SS19 pieces available.
Much like last year, the Japanese brand’s collection features intricate designs and traditional sashiko embroideries on kimono-style pieces, as well as spring essentials such as linen shirts and denim hats with intricate detailing including bamboo buttons and heavily distressed details. Those into utilitarian styles will also find elevated pieces such as multi-pocketed kimono jackets, hoodies, and shirts.
Entirely made in Japan, the collection is now available at select retailers such as HAVEN. Peep some of our favorite pieces from the drop below, with price tags ranging between $163 and $832 for a next level kimono piece.
