Last we heard from Kehlani, she was sitting pretty with the likes of The Joker and Harley Quinn. Her track "Gangsta" proved to be one of the more lively tunes on the diverse soundtrack to Suicide Squad, but aside from that track we have heard little else from the rising rapper/R&B chanteuse. But she has done all that she could to remedy that fact with "CRZY," a new single with a music video that is the very definition of getting turnt up.
The video sees Kehlani twerking her way through what an ordinary day is like. Which for her seems to entail cute birthday parties with friends by day, hardcore raves by night and throwing it down in the streets during all the time in between. She also has time to type away the song's lyrics on a Microsoft Word document, which must be a nice break from partying so relentlessly well.
"CRZY" is set to be the first single on her as yet untitled debut album, the release date of which is also still a mystery. But if the rest of the album goes but a tenth as hard as this banger disguised as a radio-ready pop song, than it could not hurt to go ahead and buckle your seatbelts.
Stay tuned for release information regarding Kehlani's debut album set to launch by year's end.
