Kelela is revisiting her debut album Take Me Apart this week, sharing the official music video for project track, “Frontline.”

Conceptualized by Mischa Notcutt and Kelela herself, and directed by Claudia Matè, the clip boasts Sims-like animation, ultimately showcasing the singer-songwriter leaving her man. After shedding a single tear, she then takes off in a convertible Benz to enjoy the open road. All the while, we receive glimpses into why it didn’t work out between Kelela and her ex.

After watching the “Frontline” aesthetic above, be sure to revisit Take Me Apart underneath.

For more music, don’t miss out on Daniel Caesar’s recent performance of ‘Freudian’ standout, “Best Part.”

Not NYC, not LA.
