The Kardashian-West-Jenner clan's dominance over NYFW extends beyond the blockbuster YEEZY Season 4 show. Not long after Uncle Kanye finished his presentation on Roosevelt Island, the youngest spawn of the Hollywood mega-family, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, unveiled an SS17 collection of their own. Kendall + Kylie, not to be confused with Kendall & Kylie, the pair's line of kids' clothing, is a collection of Ready to Wear that's aimed at an upmarket, style-conscious customer (relatively speaking, anyway).
The mega-celebs mixed casually-tailored daywear — oversized shirt-dresses, pants and leggings with matching mid-riff tops — with sexy-chic night looks like bodycon dresses and mermaid skirts. Color-wise, things were inoffensively sparse, with only a few flashes of nude and scarlet breaking up the monochromism. Pick of the bunch was no doubt the white wide-legged jumpsuit, complete with revealing stomach cutout. Chunky ankle-strapped heels and a shaggy statement backpack rounded off the Jenners' accessories offering for the season.
All in all, a collection that's easy on the eye, but not exactly groundbreaking. Which is exactly what you'd expect from the Jenners, I suppose.
