KidSuper, one of New York City’s up-and-coming streetwear brands, has released its latest collection. Dubbed “KidSuper Adventure Club,” the collection comprises three ski tops and bottoms, as well as a trio of colorful belts, all of which have been done up in the brand’s signature, eclectic style.
To celebrate the launch of this latest, skiing-inspired collection, KidSuper tapped A$AP TyY (with whom the brand has worked with in the past) to star in a Disney Channel parody alongside the brand’s founder, Colm Dillane.
The video sees Dillane play a surfer who relocates to Vermont and has to battle the skiers from his new private high school.
This isn’t the first time KidSuper has pulled out all the stops to produce a funny video to launch a new collection. In 2018, the brand parodied Wedding Crashers for its Wedding Season lookbook.
Dillane tells Highsnobiety, “The ski suits started as a patchwork jacket made out of scraps lying around in the studio. It took about a year and half to perfect it into actual ski-able clothing. I like designing stand-out clothing and pushing the limits of what I think I can make. Every year I want to make KidSuper Adventure Club clothing and shoot videos traveling the world exploring our planet and going on adventures.”

When asked about the inspiration behind the video, Dillane says “KidSuper is built on the idea that anything is possible. Every lookbook I like to make a skit to push the boundaries of what KidSuper is supposed to be.
“It’s hilarious to get people like A$AP TyY to be in a silly skit. At first he was hesitant but by the end TyY literally said, “ I think I have the acting bug” and everyone texted me saying they wanted to be in the next one.”
Shop the collection via the button below. Retail ranges from $55 for the belt to $333 for the skip top.
