Designer: Kiko Kostadinov

Location: London

Season: SS19

Key Pieces: The space-age boots made from soft leather and metallic patents with exposed heels and contrast neon stitching.

Editor’s Notes: The debut womenswear collection from Kiko Kostadinov is designed by sisters and recent Central Saint Martin’s graduates, Laura and Deanna Fanning. For SS19, the pair looked towards Aldous Huxley’s 1931 dystopian novel Brave New World for inspiration. Along with futuristic footwear, the designs juxtaposed dramatic dress shapes with soft textures, and a bold color palette to delineate the various classes of society in Huxley’s chilling vision of a future world state.

McDonalds, Prada and ’90s Leo Dicpario all showed up in our latest street style set from London Fashion Week.
