Warning: This article contains major spoilers for the ‘Game of Thrones’ finale.

This weekend, HBO aired Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, a documentary that delivered behind-the-scenes footage from the fantasy saga’s final season, showing how it was made and how the cast reacted to finding out the fate of their characters. Kit Harington, as it turns out, had the best reaction of them all.

During the documentary, a cast table-read runs through the show’s finale, focusing on the death of the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, at the hands of Jon Snow. During the read, the camera zooms in on Harington, who looks physically shook as he takes in the script. He holds his head in his hands, looks to Emilia Clarke for confirmation or reassurance, and is clearly struggling to believe that it’s he who ends her.

Watch the moment unfold below.

Of course, watching Harington react in the clip just illustrates how invested the cast were in their characters, and helps to explain why he told final season haters to “go fuck themselves” in an interview with Esquire published earlier this month.

On this episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by Guillaume Philibert, founder of Filling Pieces. He founded his brand ten years ago when he was just 19, and since then has expanded his business from sneakers to a full apparel line. Check below.
