Brands: KITH x Greg Lauren

Season: FW18

Key Pieces: Outerwear lineup looks pretty solid, especially the Zip Denim Flannel Jacket with Rugby Shirt, blacked-out Canvas Artist coat, the Kimono-inspired/flannel jacket, and the plaid/olive hybrid trench coat. The Columbus Cargo 50/50 Pant and branded long johns underwear are strong too.

Editor’s Notes: After debuting a vintage-inspired SS18 collection, Greg Lauren is back to showcase his FW18 offerings, this time in conjunction with KITH on a collection dubbed “Ivy league Draft.”

Encompassing 26 different styles with a slew of outerwear, knits, shirts, pants, underwear and more, the range was made in conjunction with Ronnie Fieg’s direction, as the theme of the line emphasizes a dystopian imagination of ivy league students drafted to war. In short, the collection’s Americana aesthetic has been deconstructed and remolded in the expertise of Greg Lauren.

Details like paint splattering, unique distressing and the marriage of different patterns and styles into one is evident across the line, making each garment all slightly different. Each piece is extremely limited, with only three units produced per style.

If you like what you see, you can shop the collection at KITH’s flagship locations in Manhattan and Los Angeles on November 9, while an online release is slated for November 10.
