To celebrate the launch of the KITH x Highsnobiety x PUMA “A Tale of Two Cities” pack, the retailer has mounted installations at both its Manhattan and Brooklyn locations, presenting the collaboration in a unique perspective that perfectly encapsulates the intent of the partnership. At KITH's Manhattan shop, two pairs of shoes - the PUMA Blaze of Glory and R698 silhouettes - are separated according to their background. They rest atop pedestals that are situated on a staircase adorned with colors of the American and German flags. Each display is inscribed with a quote from either Ronnie Fieg or our very own, David Fischer, both of whom expound on how culture blogs and sneakers often aren't mutually exclusive. In Brooklyn, the shoes sit behind glass enclosures, with descriptions regarding material use and silhouette shape printed on the side.
