KITH Treats, Ronnie Fieg's cereal bar and cafe, and the first of its kind in New York, is now expanding overseas.
The Brooklyn store's aesthetic and monochromatic palette will be opening in Tokyo on August 25, and it introduces some new materials that will come to define the KITH Treats brand in the future.
The facade of the store is comprised of small stainless steel tiles, a modern take on the white tile floors of classic ice cream parlors, but with a more prismatic effect in the street light.
For its interior, the shop is finished with large Carrara marble panels on the walls and stainless steel millwork. When closed, the gate has a large graphic of pouring milk.
