Parisian label Koché has tapped eyewear designer Thierry Lasry for a new range of sunglasses, which debuted at Koché's co-ed SS19 show. Handmade in France using acetate from Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli, the new "Cobalt" line is flat-fronted, but with ’80s-inspired, performance-style frames.
Speaking about the construction and inspiration of the sunglasses, Christelle Kocher, founder of Koché, says "we used a new technique to get a very unusual shape on the top of the glasses: cut and bevelled. Their name is Cobalt because the inspiration comes from the superhero Cobalt Man."
