Junichi Abe's Kolor imprint unveils their Spring/Summer 2016 line as part of Paris's ongoing fashion extravaganza. Abe (whose wife Chitose runs Sacai) presented yet another set of outerwear-heavy men's looks revolving around earthy, muted tones, with oversized anoraks and parkas accompanied by suiting with exposed stitching, voluminous trousers and rugged, hard-wearing footwear. A smattering of female models made their way onto the catwalk, perhaps a reflection of the continued growth of sportswear and performance clothing amongst females, or as a comment on the current trend for androgyny in fashion.
The collection will hit retailers next year by which time we will have seen a glimpse of Abe's forthcoming collaborative project with adidas, the full details of which are still under wraps.
