Leica has come together with famed musician Lenny Kravitz for a second collaboration, this week debuting the M Monochrom “Drifter.” Created under Kravitz Design, the limited edition camera is wrapped in a vegan python leatherette.
The collaborative Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) camera is finished in sepia brown paint, as it comes with two matching sepia brown paint lenses, two vintage-style brown lens cases, a woven carrying strap with vegan python accents, all-purpose travel accessory pouches, and a weekender bag called “The Drifter Traveler.” The device is also accompanied by a Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH and APO-Summicron-M 75mm f/2 ASPH with a built-in telescoping lens hood, both of which are done up in the same sepia brown shade. The front rim of each lens, as well as the camera’s thumb wheel, flash shoe, shutter button, and soft release are crafted from untreated brass.
The lens cases are designed to specifically fit each lens, while the all-purpose accessory pouches are meant for carrying photo equipment and/or travel essentials. Lastly, you can carry it all in “The Drifter Traveler” weekender bag.
Limited to 125 units worldwide, Lenny Kravitz’s Leica M Monochrom “Drifter” is available for $23,950.
