Hosted by Brain Dead’s Kyle Ng, Red Bull TV’s latest original aims to reveal the surprising stories behind everyday fabrics and how their modern interpretation, individualization and eventual implementation into today’s market has helped them become iconic.

Launching into the series with an exclusive interview with the heads behind Vans, Kyle Ng kicks things off by pondering whether sneakers are merely “leather and rubber on your feet, or the most creative thing you can wear.” It’s an interesting, rather broad question, only truly answerable by some of the brand’s head honchos, including lead designer, Rian Pozzebon, and present-day owner, Steve Van Doren.
