Japan-based adventurers Simon and Martina have been traveling the world and making videos since 2008, the same year the Canadian couple moved to South Korea. Now living in Japan, the tandem recently ventured to Arashiyama in Kyoto to try out the cuisine at Kyoto Kitcho.

First off, Kyoto Kitcho is a 3 Michelin Star restaurant and one of the most respected establishments, not only in the country, but the world. In addition to the food being undisputedly next-level, Simon and Martina insist that Kyoto Kitcho is the "most gorgeous, most luxurious place" they've visited thus far.

"There’s a feeling when you walk in here. It’s intimidating," the couple notes. "It’s so stunning that it scares you stiff, and I can’t help but think 'don’t fuck this up! I don’t know how you’ll fuck it up but don’t!' The air here makes you feel like you’re in the presence of royalty, and the whole time I feel like I snuck into a castle and I’m about the grabbed by the scruff of my neck and escorted out."

While at Kyoto Kitcho, the two partook of a traditional Kaiseki meal, courtesy of Kunio Tokuoka. Following, Simon and Martina even went so far as to interview Tokuoka.

In related news, the official Dragon Ball Café and Diner is now open in Japan.
