Editor’s Notes: LANE EIGHT, a brand founded by brothers Josh and James Shorrock, is on a mission to develop footwear for everyday athletes.

The brothers have taken Nike’s “If you have a body, you’re an athlete” tagline to heart and are now addressing the disconnect they believe exists between normal, everyday athletes and products made for world-class performance athletes.

The LANE EIGHT Trainer AD 1 is a sneaker built for everyday wear, able to withstand the rigors of a hard workout while remaining comfortable.

“I was wearing three pairs of shoes a day," says Josh. "One for lifting in the gym in the morning, another for getting shots up on the court during lunch, and a third as my daily go-to for the rest of the day. I knew it was possible to create one shoe that could do everything, but also knew that no big brand would ever make and market that shoe.”

The Trainer AD 1 is now available via the LANE EIGHT online store and retails for $160.
