Watch The Season 4 Promo For HBO's 'Last Week Tonight'

HBO's promo of Last Week Tonight's Season 4 proved one thing, John Oliver knows how to laugh at himself. John Oliver's always known he hasn't been hugely popular, and the promo nods to HBO's bigger shows such as Game of Thrones and Curb Your Enthusiasm, which makes a return soon.

Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani also makes a cameo appearance in the promo, comically reminding Oliver that his show isn't the most popular on HBO. The promo also features Curb Your Enthusiasm's creator Larry David. There's no doubt the new season will have a particular focus on Donald Trump, as the show does not air until after his inauguration.

Regardless of John Oliver's popularity, the season premiere may prove successful, especially as it will be a few weeks into Trump's administration. Season 4 of Last Week Tonight returns to HBO on February 12.

Elsewhere in entertainment, a new Netflix series is on its way exploring the work of the world's leading designers.
