We are getting closer and closer to finally hearing new LCD Soundsystem music. Fresh from opening the venue Brooklyn Steel with a five-night residency where they debuted brand new material, the back-from-the-dead band will be giving work from their upcoming album a world premiere on SNL this weekend, which will also be their first appearance on the show. Watch the promo with host Chris Pine below.

James Murphy and crew are technically not in the just-released promo, but their iconic track "Dance Yrself Clean" soundtracks Pine and cast member Kate McKinnon running around in excitement. They also confirmed in comments on a Facebook post that they will indeed be playing new music when they take the SNL stage, so get hype.

Watch the Spike Jonze-directed video for "Drunk Girls" below.

In other music news, Future has shared a trailer for the upcoming music video for "Mask Off." Watch it right here.
